Catherine Prieur, construction engineer with over 30 years
experience, gained her experience during 8 years with the Bouygues Offshore
group, followed by 2 years with Chovet Engineering (SNC Lavalin) specialising
in industrial buildings, before joining the Saipem group in the oil and gas
industry construction – Mastering the entire development process of a project,
her profile gives her a complete vision covering commercial proposals,
technical aspects and on-site problems, overall project execution and its
changes, as well as legal and contractual matters. She has orchestrated the
development and contributed to the realisation of projects, interfacing with
all involved parties including clients, with the aim of ensuring the completion
of the projects, in accordance with the specifications. Catherine is a
graduated engineer with a degree from the INSA de Rennes in Civil Engineering
and Urban Planning, 1989 graduation.
She later
received training in contractual matters while working for more than 8 years
for major projects in the Legal Department of her employer, and then for other
clients of CPCR-Conseil, which was set up in 2018.
She obtained a
first degree in 2014 and the I2C PgD degree - International Construction
Contracts - from the «Université de Droit Paris 2 » in 2021. She was also
(re)certified PMP by PMI in 2021.
Catherine
completed the training program in inter-company mediation at the CMAP
(Institute 131) in June 2023 - the objective is to pass the related ESCP /
CMAP certification.
Paul Barclay has over forty years of experience in the management and direction of construction projects in the four corners of the world. Using his experience, he also managed profit centres supervising project directors on projects in execution phase, as well as during the preparation of new contracts, supervising teams working on the preparation of offers and commercial proposals. Paul spent the first 13 years of his career managing civil and building construction projects in Africa and the Middle East. This was folowed by a period of 26 years with Saipem (and its predecessor Bouygues Offshore), interrupted by a period of 4 years spent serving Areva and Colas. The experience he has acquired on the five continents is considerable, in the Oil & Gas construction industry for major clients such as ExxonMobil, Shell, Total and British Gas, and also in nuclear construction projects, as well as civil, roadworks and building projects. He also developped a recognized knowledge in the preparation and negotiation of dispute files. Paul has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Adelaide (1974 graduation) and is a Chartered Professional Engineer with he Institution of Engineers of Australia.
